The school systems are geared towards middle class whites causing students of different backgrounds to fail in and out of the classroom. We argue that school systems need to adjust their curriculum to fit all of their students. The education system needs to be more diverse giving everyone a equal chance to succeed.

Having Teachers that are Culturally Relatable to Students is Key
A classroom is suppose to be a learning environment, where students acquire their education through their teachers as resources. Every teacher doesn't understand the child backgrounds or the circumstances they come from. Each child comes from a different background, and not all children are raised the same or fortunate like others. It's significant that all student have a teachers who they can relate to, and provide a support system for them during their academic career. I agree with Jones statement “ So having teachers that are culturally sensitive and that have similar backgrounds has always been viewed as a value added to any school situation”, because teacher and students of the same background learn more from each other. The teacher creates a better understanding for a child who once lived in the same predicament as them.
